Well look at that! I reached my 90k in pageviews! Thanks guys! Man, that's a lot of pageviews. I'll be hitting the big 100k next Speaking of... would anyone be interested if I possibly offered something for getting my 99,999 pageview screenshot? (nine is my lucky number, and that's alot of nines 8D) Not entirely sure yet, but it might be fun~

So, summer has definitely arrived here! It's been warm/hot pretty much everyday (which can suck majorly at work, if the rooms we clean haven't been set to AC by the person who stayed/is staying in it D: But then there's some people who are awesome and have their rooms as cool as a walk in fridge/freezer. GO THEM ). I certainly hope I get the chance to go swimming in the next day or two, it would make me a super happy bunbun

To my fellow Canadian deviants, I hope you all had a great Canada Day! To the American deviants, I hope you had a happy Independence Day as well!

So, how goes things? Normal job is picking up to busy, for the summer rush of tourists, which is expected so... tired/hot/hungry me, getting out later than usual in the afternoon But at least that also means I'll be putting in more hours than usual, hence, more monies! (and we all recently got a raise, so now I'm making $11.25 an hour, woohoo~ *glee*)

Night shift, on the other hand, is a little iffy at the moment, since the coworker I offered half the shifts to decided to bail on us, after two weeks D: So now we're looking for someone else. Mom insists she'll take a few of the shifts for me until someone else starts, so... hopefully she keeps her word *certainly hopes so*

I've started biking home from shifts and... getting used to riding my bike across town at about 10ish at night. Done it three-four times now, and it's not so bad. First time I did it, I underestimated my fitness and was huffing and puffing halfway through town xD; Now I slow down to a more moderate speed once I get halfway, and it's not nearly as tiring. Takes me less than 15 minutes, too! And either I'm just not attackable (8D) or my town's just really not the sort of place one will get in trouble going through at night. Which is appreciated~

Posting rather late since I got home late tonight (biking riding at 11:15... fun times! *dies*) , and I have a day off tomorrow I'll see if I can gets me a sketch done before I go to bed... or just go to bed *hit* Goodnight!

What better time to update my journal when I've just finally cleared out my messages for the first time in weeks? Finally got that commenting done! (Brandon, I don't know if you were seriously waiting for me to catch up or what but, YOU CAN UPLOAD NEW STUFF NOW, IF SO :B *hit*)

So first things first. To wrap up some of the loose ends from my last journal? The toes finally healed up (other than some scabby crust), which was most relieving Due to some arrangements on the part of my mother and myself, I am now working at my night shift job for only three nights, instead of six (I offered half of those shifts to my coworker, Rita, from my main job, who's been looking for a second job/more hours, since she needs the money). So that's some weight off my shoulders :whew:

Art's going okay; it's been kind of on and off of 'caught up' and 'oh shit, fell behind again', because I either A) Get distracted by the Internet - B) Am busy with friends/family affairs - C) Sims 2. Enough said *slapped* Stuff along those lines. But if I can sketch up a comic page tonight, and perhaps ink it too, I should be caught up

I am also frustrated as hell that I haven't been able to write Colour chapters/script for months :C It's like, I KNOW what's happening in the chapter, and I've somewhat started it, but I just can't seem to get INTO it. Mind you, I'm only on Chapter 2 in the webcomic, and the chapter I'm starting on is 9, but still =/ I'd feel alot more assured if I was more ahead on storyline, you know?

Aside from that, things are well as can be expected Just gotta get two more comic pages done, then July's covered and I can relax for awhile :3 Am possibily considering taking August off from Colour... sort of a vacation, as it were. I know, I sort of did that in May, but... I just feel like I'm kinda overdoing myself, lately. Having fun doing a webcomic is an important thing to keep motivated, and for awhile, I've felt a little out of it

Also, the vacation would allow me to get my buffer back up to almost two months, which would allow me to do less buffer each month, hence more room for me to draw my normal stuff. If I can work out all the little details and such But yeah, nothing solid yet... just giving you guys a heads up, to see what you think. Will bring it up again on a later date.

Well then! I'll see if I can update a couple pretty pictures for you guys sometime tomorrow, if I can manage Take care and hope you're enjoying the start of your summer! :cool:

Okay, this is going to be a brief update, if anything, just to get a first June update out there

The month didn't start bad, to be honest. But a few things went awry, and now I'm behind and not feeling all that great, to say the least :C

On Wednesday I finally went to my doctor to get my toenails fixed (both big toenails were ingrown. Extremely painful and gross >>!). Which included jamming a needle into both toes for several minutes, just to freeze the suckers, which was unbelievably uncomfortable and OUCH, needless to say x.O;

After that it wasn't bad... other than my toes being pretty much SEDATED, which made it near impossible to walk most of the day. And lucky me... Mom chose to make me do night on my own that day (So much for keeping off my feet!) So I begged my 13 year old brother to come in and help me (he's helped me and Mom before), and my stepdad and youngest brother (11) also came, which helped, but my feet/toes screamed regardless D:

The next day they were pretty sore, but luckily they didn't start hurting really bad until evening... when I had to do night shift again. Even in just an hour, I was basically in pain with every step >>; And today at work was pretty much the same, only for six hours. My feet kinda slid into a "Okay, I hurt, but clearly that's not stopping you " resignation. So still ouch, but not as much.

And due to such events of work and suchlike, I've gotten behind in art, which makes me irritated, as usual I also can't seem to bring myself to properly get back into my comic buffer, which also annoys me. Fortunately, I have this entire month covered, but if I can't get back into it, July's gonna be giving me hell. Hopefully I can get myself back on track o.o;

I know I'm sounding pretty put out, but hopefully things will begin to improve soon, if I keep my chin up and get back on the ball. Cripes, I wish I could take another vacation or something XP Or just get out of this funk I seem to have. Ah, c'est la vie~ Wish me luck I guess!

See, I have two leftover fanart pieces, done by one of my best friends ~kaourika and my loving fiance *ZaneRedrald, and not being able to leave out either of their lovely works, I'm putting them -both- in this week So, extra treat for you guys! Don't you feel special?
