Zane + Des'ree - Nesting?

Well, after the Bradley/Carla joke art I did prior, I felt inspired to do some more amusing art for my hubby ~ZaneRedrald this time converting back to Zane/Des'ree... and this particular idea I think, I had thought of YEARS ago... it just kind of dropped out of mind and decided to resurface now 8D; And I felt entertained enough to draw it out~

Okay, FUN FACT ABOUT RABBITS TIME~ (yes, this is one of those 'let's poke fun at anthro species by having them relapse into their domestic species behavioural traits' Because those are always fun!) When expecting a littler of babies, female rabbits/does (and well, some other animals do this too, like birds) will start building a nest of things like hay, grass, and suchlike to keep her little hairless and blind kittens in when they're born. Since they need the warmth/protection

Another very important piece of that nesting to keep the babies warm and cozy? The mother rabbit will literally tear her own fur out of her chest (they usually tend to have this huge poof of it at the front of the chest/neck) to line the nest with. Essentially a maternal sacrifice on her part~

So yes! Getting to how this ties into the image now Des'ree (an anthro rabbit) seems to be reverting to her rabbit roots (when expecting her first baby with Zane |D) in the matter of nesting. She's already torn out her own chest poof [link] (view it here), which was not very plentiful at all, much to her dismay 8C So what's she using to make up for this?

Why, her mate's! [link] (see how bountiful his manly chest hair is? ;D) She figures, HAY, he has plenty to spare (and it's his babby too, lawl), so while unsuspecting Zane is sleeping, she goes and tears that manly chest poof off (...not quite clean off though |D; To be fair, it was a lot, and her mouth can only grasp so much! 8| *HIT*).

Needless to say, poor Zane is both pained and mortified at the loss of his beloved manly chest hair D': SHE TOOK HIS PRIDE AND JOY AWAY~ (Brandon says he gets the mental image of an after scene of Zane in the bathroom, weeping inconsolably as he shaves off the pitiful aftermath xD Since it does look rather rediculous like that, lol) I mean really, though, HE'S PART TO BLAME HIMSELF (next time don't impregnate your woman... *HIT*)

And that's the last I have of jokeart amusement for my hubby ...FOR NOW ANYWAY. (I still owe you that commission, I know! ;_; And it will be LULZ! ...Looove yooou
