Fashionably Disasterous - Gift Art

What's this, birthday giftart done on the exact day at a (semi)DECENT hour? SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. *bricked* Thank goodness for a well timed day off, plus a dentist appointment for a filling that DIDN'T suck 8D Otherwise it might've been a different story.

But yush, it happens to be the day of birth of the magnificence that is kaourika! Let us all express appreciation for her and her creative work (which hopefully she'll share with us more again once she's gotten her home built :3 All the best in getting that done soon!!). Seeing as she hasn't been around much to post recent art of her characters, I was a bit stranded for good options XD; But I managed!

Seeing it has been YEARS since I've last drawn her character Ryuu kaourika.deviantart.com/art/Hu… I was most inspired to try him again. I was kinda of tempted to revisit our old crossover pairing of him and my character Crystal blushbunnyc3.deviantart.com/ar… buuuut D: Considering it's been years and I wasn't sure if Ryuu's gone through some revamping that would make their pairing, AU or not, really out of character ._. (if it's not, by all means correct me, and I will draw you all the RyuuxCrystal prons you want! BD *HIT*) So I decided to skip that.

So I rehashed an idea I played with last year, for Rafeal Seeing as Kao does so love drawing her characters (well, Rei and Rafi at least ) in various wardrobe, ESPECIALLY outfits that are ill fitting and they despise, I decided to roll with that them for poor unsuspecting Ryuu here for lulz AND VOLIA. He got stuck in this number.

It's actually based off an outfit a friend I watch on Tumblr posted via Pinterest sometime back that I actually liked and saved as a reference I may use it for a character later. But I just thought it seemed like something Ryuu would totally not be into, given his own style is quite not so clean cut or fashionable xD He's all WAT IS DIS SHEET. He's about to put a bounty on those clothes, sob.
