Cody-Des'ree - Closer

This was the last picture I created while on vacation in Ontario, back in October. I sketched and inked it, that month... but believe it or not, I didn't get around to colouring it until the end of November I hate when that happens... which is why I try to stick with a project until it's finished ;

This image has been a long time in coming, hasn't it? Considering I haven't drawn something of these two together in almost two YEARS o.O (er. Unless you count this [link] 8D But that was still over a year ago D< *dies*) And since they both got a redesign, it was only naturally I put the two together to see what they look like together in their spiffy new duds

It's almost kind of an update of their last picture: [link] Only with obvious updates, on both the characters, setting, etc. This was also me experimenting with water shading effects... I think it came out rather well (Still gotta touch up a bit.)

So yes. Here's Cody (raccoon) and Des'ree (rabbit) have a nice little snuggle moment And because I love snagging songs to couple art, on occasion, here's one for you. The word "close" came to mind for this, and immediately, "Closer" by Melanie C (who was always my favourite Spice Girl, lawl 8D Her voice is incredible, srsly.) came to mind.
