Casey-Topaz - Family Beach Day

Ever notice I seem to post pregfur pictures at all once? Well it makes sense to me... Anywho! This, believe it or not, was made for a contest! The one being held at ~pregfur, a community, which I have my pregfur artwork posted at in abundance They also hold a club in dedication here at DA, so that's cool ^^ Recently, I was checking the journal entry they posted, and it was holding a contest - not only that; for cash prizes!

Needless to say, I figured I could kick my brain into thinking up something The contest was for a beach theme. And I thought about it, and suddenly, the cutest idea came to me. My characters Casey (oldest son of Bullseye... bwahaha XD A hyena-warthog) and his girlfriend (wife, in this picture) Topaz (*mostly siamese* cat), and their first child, a little girl (cat-hyena-warthog! ) named Amber, spending some family time at the beach ^o^

Yes, Casey and Topaz have another baby, as you can see (another daughter, in fact, named Sapphire, who I've yet to design ) Little Amber here is two years old when they have her baby sister. She's a cute little thing isn't she? Woot for teh bathing suit with the frilly little skirt tutu thing Hey, at least SHE looks pretty in it ^^ And heh... if there's one thing little kids love to do at the beach... it's play with (and sometimes EAT! oo) sand So Amber's mucking around with her little shovel and pail, making sand boulders

Proud papa Casey, who's now watching his little girl play, was probably dozing on his towel, in de sun <D Topaz, is in the shade of the huge beach umbrella (yeah, that's what that huge circular color thing is! XD) enjoying some reading time She was wearing a light shirt there, but it's now being appropriately discarded, for the heat And as for the background... just some insanely colored sand, some rocks nearby, the water, and some island terrain view, since that's what it looks like from where I live

Not to be proud or vain, but near the beginning of the contest, I thought I might have a chance to win, but seeing the other amazing entries now coming in, I can't help but think I'm going to be totally and utterly PWNED Ah well ;; At least I got a cute picture out of it And some respect from few members at the site Thanks for the support! Wish me luck? *bricked* ...Anyone else missing the warm weather yet? *brrrr! x.X*
