Bradley + Carla - SP Cosplay

Happy Halloween everyone Here's some holiday art for your enjoyment, ala cosplay! I didn't manage to get anything done last year so, plus I had some time and inspiration, so go me

Seeing as my awesome hubby *ZaneRedrald has totally made me a Scott Pilgrim (series) fangirl, and he brought the books with up with him, so I could read them, I've been totally hyping up on them (and we're both giddy as heck for the movie to come out 8D We saw both saw it in theatres~) and as this month grew later, I was all, HAY, I SHOULD TOTALLY DO A SCOTT/RAMONA COSPLAY

I feel bad that Brandon actually wanted to draw one too, but he insisted that I take it, and he drew one for Devil May Cry instead (SEE IT'S AWESOMENESS! [link]) His was a Zane/Des'ree, so mine is a Bradley/Carla :3

Anywho, so yes, here we have Carla (a snowshoe hare) and Bradley (a bear but I'm painfully aware of the fact he looks more like a monkey here, so please don't even mention it, or I'll start wrist slashing and bleed all over you |: *HIT*) cosplaying Ramona Flowers and Scott Pilgrim, drawn in SP style no less It was actually a lot of fun, but I do admit they were also heavily referenced (from book 4) XD; Tried to put in a few little details to differate here and there, but I still give most of the props to Mr. Bryan Lee O'Malley

Used markers for the colouring, since it's quicker, I had the right colours (although half of them tried to DIE on me! >C Gee thanks...) and it matches the SP style, which is flat colouring (for most part). Brandon helped me pick out a PhotoStudio texture and colour to use for the background effect, and used the font that looks the most like the one used in the SP books Basically, kept it all pretty simple.
