Beach Ball Fun - Art Trade

This was the third trade I took this month, and it's the only one I felt actually proud of how it came out, to be honest (not dissing my other halves, mind you, I'm just nitpicky 8D *hit*) But yes. Was browsing over certain deviants on my Recent Viewers list, and came across the very talented ~roseovolpe, was most impressed with her work, and upon seeing her request for trades, I couldn't help myself

But yes! She gave me such a lovely character to work from, the adorable papillion Petra [link] She said Petra was very outgoing, and she should be doing something fun, and well... what with the weather here finally getting warmer, and my usual love for beaches This seemed perfect (plus cmon, doggies love beaches! XD)

Doesn't she look sweet? Probably playing beach ball with a friend or two XD But yeah, I really like how this came out for the pose most of all. It's just more well rounded and realistic looking Which can be difficult for me to pull off sometimes, so it's nice when I can manage 8D Her hair and floofy tail were especially fun to draw. Really love the feet/toes too <D Yay for beach fun!
