An Odd Proposal... - Jacqsky

First off, I just have to point out a nitpick that is so bugging me... yes, I realize I did Goresky's grey fur WAY too dark I pressed on the damn pencil too hard.... meep ;.; So ignore that. And yes, I realize that this whole entire picture looks dark! Mind you, I scanned this when I had just bought my new scanner-printer machine thing, and was trying to figure out how to use the bloody thing so... If the quality looks funny, pheh, scanner's fault I say

But anywho, you all remember this recent pic of these two here: [link] and if you looked in the comments, I had _two_ people (*Toni-the-Mink and ~ SamCyberCat) mention something about these two getting married and such... plus I had this idea in my head for future story use, and I decided why not illustrate something to the like... and so this was born This would be the pair on a dinner out evening, on an anniversary (they'd been dating for... what, 8 years I think? ), and see... both of them wanted to surprise the other with a special gift... an _engagement ring_!

So they were both planning to propose that night, and they actually told Chislett (who knew, and never said anything to them about that they were _both_ going to do it; instead he just said "Alright! Way to go!" to the both of them, not letting up that he knew the other's plan, and then he told Graff, Marco, Lorelei and Taryn-Lacy, and suggested they all go and watch the scene ) So yeah, Goresky and Jacque went to the dinner as planned (mind you, it's a fancy restaurant and a very special occasion, which is why they're both dressed in suits Not bad looking fellas, wouldn't you say?

As usual, they talked about things and ate their food, then both get onto the whole "future" discussion, and at the _same time_, pull out their boxes and are about to pop the question... when they both notice what the other is doing And looking at each other's ring box, they're all "What's that?!" and it's a bit of an awkward moment, as you can see But once they get over the shock, they're both quite happy and, obviously, both accept So there will be a wedding! (will definitely have to draw something of that eventually ) Lots of joy to go around

P.S. ...I still can't believe you thought they were holding _condoms_, J... (not saying who, unless she'd like me to XP) I WILL NEVER GET OVER THAT! XD *dies*
