Amber + Eden - Designs

Look who finally finished her last image leftover from January! It's cause I'm a buttface who was procrastinating on both picking out the final colours for the left character (I had a vague idea, just not enough to be driven, sob) plus the fullscale background. Woe is I >> BUT HEY SEE ME DRAWING A NEW DESIGN - I started off the year with such good art intentions ;; (I've done two new character designs so far... IT'S SOMETHING DAMNIT 8( )

But okay, let's introduce this lovely pair, shall we? The right one is an older/adult design for Amber (a cat) here: blushbunnyc3.deviantart.com/ar… Oldest daughter of Casey and Topaz blushbunnyc3.deviantart.com/ar… She grows up to be pretty tall and limber; she takes after her paternal/Torra side, in that she's quite sportsy/athletic. She probably dabbles in a bit in quite a few sports, but her favourite would be volleyball, as shown here~

Fun fact: In real life inspiration from my father, who has played said sport since I was young. He's had to slow down in recent years since his age and elbow's been giving him grief amoung other things D: My older brother started playing with him for a few years too.

Left character would be the newly designed Eden She's a clouded leopard upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia… Couldn't resist that fur pattern! Sure I simplify a lot, but it's still quite striking~ Nice and casual attire too, and pretty pleased with the hair. (Thank you Sims 2 body shop builder XD *HIT*) But yes, as is probably obvious by sticking her with Amber here, she's also into the volleyball - they both play on a team together (in highschool).

Perhaps not so obvious? The two are actually a couple as well. Just something that sort of developed into my musings awhile back (I also got Tegan & Sara's album "Heartthrob" last year, and it was giving me shipping vibes for these characters like crazy XD I'm weird like that; sometimes an artist and/or song will just scream as inspiration for a pairing, for me. It's kinda cool~). They started as friends and playmates and it just sort of sparked somewhere. They're really tight~ It's hard to see where it goes, when it comes to longetivity at this point - but it's a start! And they're quite adorable ;w; Hope you guys enjoy this too!
