Aleena + Sacha - Mother's Love

So I realized (sometime last year) that I've been a very naughty Cari, in that I've drawn Masevar and Aleena's only daughter Sacha ONCE [link] (well, I drew her in a book, but it's only an inked doodle, hence probably will never be posted), whereas I've drawn their sons at least twice D: Thus it was high time to remedy that.

Also wanted to draw her with her mama... since I think I'm lacking mother/daughter images o.o *quickly glances at gallery* Yup... last one I did was over a year ago XD So THERE. Although I should definitely draw her with her papa sometime too, since she takes after him in looks, and it would be cute ;; BUT ANYWAY.

So here were have Aleena and her little girl Sacha (both felines), spending some quality time in one of the palace gardens or whatnot (they're royalty, so yes, palace ). At first I was going for Aleena helping her learn to walk but... I'm not sure if Sacha looks more full grown into an age of where she'd already know how o.o In that case, Aleena's just holding her hands, for cuteness She's a doting mommy!

I'd forgotten how FREAKING LONG IT TAKES TO COLOUR THAT MUCH GRASS Considering half of the image IS grass. That poor particular green pencil used took quite a beating, as did a blister on the knuckle of my right ring finger :C (it seems to only fester when I'm really going colour overboard on areas like that) Everything else was fairly easy. Regardless, I am proud of my grass colouring abilities (at least I HOPE they're something to be proud of! <D; )

Also, woo at me attempting to make cool designy things on the wall/banisters for the steps I TRIED, SOB. Either way, this came out fairly nice, I think. Enjoy the lav
